The
Karl Rosenbusch Fair Play Award is presented annually to the
area high school varsity boys' and girls' teams which best
exemplify the ideals of fair play. The winning teams are chosen
based on reports made by LVSOA/PIAA officials following each
regular season varsity game.
In
2005 the award was renamed in memory of Karl Rosenbusch, who
was a longtime soccer player, coach, referee, assessor, and
administrator in the Lehigh Valley. The award is sponsored
by Karl's family. Representatives of the winning teams are
invited to accept the award at the LVSOA/PIAA year-end banquet.
